We took a drive just outside of Ciminna to see la bella campagna (beautiful countryside). It's filled with farmland, cacti plants, olive and fruit trees, and secluded country houses.
We also saw this lake from afar, Lago Rosamarina, which is close to the neighboring town of Caccamo. Between the peaks of the mountains, at the horizon level, there is a faint blue line. This is the sea.
