For more than a decade now, downtown Chicago has enjoyed a piece of Paris. I have always admired the Van Buren Street Station metra entrance because of its likeness to some of the métro subway signs in Paris. According to the metra website, Paris gave this replica as a gift to Chicago. The style of the architecture is Art Nouveau, which was popular at the turn of the century.
