After we descended Monte Pellegrino, we headed down to the beach of Mondello. I snapped this image after we pulled the car over to the side of the windy mountain road. I saturated the colors here to emphasize the landscape. Like so many other vistas in Sicily, this one shows the city (or village) sprawling in the valley between the arid mountains. Up next: sand and sea at Mondello!
