Mondello is arguably the most beautiful beach in Palermo, with the mountains as its backdrop, its white sand, and clear aquamarine water. It is well-known, yet on this particular day, it wasn't overly crowded. We parked near the harbor and wandered out on one of the piers, where we watched local kids jump into the water and swim back up, only to repeat it again.
