We visited the National Geographic Museum for the pirate exhibit, Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah, From Slave Ship to Pirate Ship, which was enthralling. I loved seeing all the artifacts from the ship. While we were there, we walked through the Birds of Paradise exhibit (less exciting). There was also a fantastic photography exhibit in their lobby showcasing photos that did not make it into the magazines.
